There is no place like home

Every country, city, town and neighbourhood is home to it's own unique variety of animals. Here is a sample of what you will find at my place up in the hinterland behind the Gold Coast Australia, bordering on Mount Tamborine National Park.

I am very blessed to be living in such a nature-bound area and if you look hard enough, so are you.

Brush Turkey

Tawny Frogmouth
A Whiptail Wallaby at the end of my street

Australian King Parrot

Brush Turkey Chick

Laughing Kookaburra

Black Skink

Sulphur Crested Cockatoo

Australian Magpies

Rainbow Lorikeets

Crested Pigeons

A small note on bird feeders: I have placed a bird feeder on my property and it’s worth noting that there is controversy around these feeders or feeding any wild animal for that matter.
